Overview

This course is designed for anyone working at height. This includes but is not limited to those involved in roofing, guttering, solar panel installation, display work, excavations, machine maintenance, scaffolding, vehicle unloading and shelf stacking.

Unfortunately working at height continues to be a high risk activity which can result in serious injuries and fatalities. Having an incident through lack of training or bad practise can do untold damage to your reputation as well as personal trauma for all those involved.

According to Work at Height Regulations 2005 any employee engaged in any work at height activity must be competent to do so and it the employers responsibility to provide adequate training. Overview

This course is designed to provide candidates with the knowledge necessary to allow them to avoid work which may disturb asbestos during any operations which could disturb the fabric of a building, or other construction which might contain asbestos.

Employees should be able to recognise asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) and know what to do if they come across them in order to protect themselves and others.
